About The Lampshade Barn

The Lampshade Barn by Lizzie Kay Design is a family run business, that started as a small home studio making bespoke items before attending country fairs and setting up our first website. Fast forward eight years and The Lampshade Barn has now grown into a large working studio on the Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire border. We produce 100’s of beautiful lampshades each week, sending them across the United Kingdom to their new homes.

We now stock 100’s of different fabrics from some of the best fabric manufactures in the UK, modern styles, florals and our very popular range of country fabrics. We are happy to send samples out of any of our fabrics, so you can choose the perfect one.

We pride ourselves on ensuring that each and every lampshade is lovingly handmade, using traditional methods in our studio. Currently we make drum, french drum and empire shapes, in a variety of different sizes starting at 20cm up to the largest of 70cm. We can also make all of our lampshades with coloured inners or diffusers so you can add something extra special to your interior style. However, should you need something more unique we will always try to help, just give us a ring.

Not only are we filling homes across the UK with lampshades, we also work with a large range of commercial clients as well. We often spot our lampshades on TV sets, in luxury show homes and large hotels.
